Keep the environment you already want to work in: choose Oh Story for a supported agent working on a writing-project folder; the Oh Story DSH plugin for a DSH workspace and session; or hosted ZenStory for an account-based project workbench. Both DSH Web and ZenStory can appear in a browser—the host, files and account boundary matter more than the presence of a web page.

- Oh Story Choose this when you already use a supported coding agent and want it to work with a visible writing-project directory. You do not need to move an established project into another product just to follow this guide.
- Oh Story DSH Choose the plugin when DSH is the host you want to keep for your workspace, tools and sessions. Its workbenches live inside DSH Web; this is not an account in the hosted ZenStory service.
- ZenStory Workbench Choose hosted ZenStory when you want an account-based browser project with a file tree, editor, AI chat and version features, rather than managing an agent-host installation for this workflow.

Working environment · 工作环境
- Oh Story Install the skill pack using the adapter documented for your host, then run its setup/check workflow in the intended project. Integrations are not identical: some hosts use skills-only or solo/direct execution rather than every custom agent and hook.
- Oh Story DSH Use a DSH Web profile and the versioned installation guide, which lists Node.js 24+. DSH owns the workspace, permissions, session and UI; the creation plugin does not launch a second agent runtime.
- ZenStory Workbench Open app.zenstory.ai. The source protects dashboard and project routes with a login guard. Self-hosting is separate: it requires deploying the web/backend stack and configuring model services, not just installing an Oh Story skill.
- Oh Story（网文写作 skill 包） 按宿主对应的适配方式安装技能包，在目标写作项目中运行 setup/check 流程。不同集成并不等价：某些宿主采用 skills-only 或 solo/direct，而不是完整的自定义 agent 与 hook 能力。

Configuration responsibility · 配置责任
- Oh Story The pack supplies skills and reference material; it is not a model bundle. Review the selected host’s model, tool, permission and data-processing configuration. A local skills directory alone does not establish offline inference or private processing.
- Oh Story DSH Configure a model/provider in DSH for AI creation. Other bundled production workflows can require additional media services or local tools. Being able to view existing work does not establish that generation credentials and dependencies are ready.
- ZenStory Workbench For hosted use, check the instance’s account, plan and service settings. For self-hosting, follow the deployment/model setup documentation. This guide makes no claim about current prices, included generation, availability or which credentials a particular service plan will require.
- Oh Story（网文写作 skill 包） 技能包提供 skills 与参考资料，不是模型包。应检查所选宿主的模型、工具、权限和数据处理配置。仅有本地 skills 目录，不能证明推理离线或处理过程私密。

Files and results · 文件与结果
- Oh Story Work is organized as project files. The import workflow explicitly distinguishes an analysis-only library from a resumable writing project with setting, outline, draft and tracking material. Choose that intent before importing an authorized manuscript.
- Oh Story DSH Select a workspace and session. Creation views appear when recognized project files exist; an empty workspace can remain in native DSH Chat. Treat manuscript files and host/profile/session configuration as different things when backing up or moving work.
- ZenStory Workbench The instance manages project files and revision features. The inspected draft-export endpoint merges drafts into TXT and checks an active user, project ownership and allowed plan formats. Do not treat this as a complete export of every file, setting, conversation or version history.
- Oh Story（网文写作 skill 包） 产物以项目文件组织。导入流程明确区分“只做拆文库分析”和“建立含设定、大纲、正文与追踪的可续写工程”。导入已获授权的稿件前，先确定自己需要哪一种。
- Oh Story DSH 选择工作目录与会话。识别到创作项目文件后才显示对应视图；空目录可能仍是原生 DSH Chat。备份或移动作品时，要区分稿件文件与宿主、profile、会话配置。

070d744. Check the version and adapter actually installed in your writing project. Do not assume that it matches the separately bundled DSH snapshot, even when skill names look similar. - Oh Story DSH At DSH commit
493cd77, the bundled Oh Story manifest pins release0.7.10to commitabe9663(full commit in the linked manifest). Its skill provider reads the bundled knowledge directory, not your standalone Oh Story installation. A different commit alone does not establish better or worse behavior. - ZenStory Workbench At workbench commit
9bad4fd, the backend has its own builtin, project and user skill-loading paths. Logging into this service does not establish installation or synchronization of your standalone Oh Story pack, or equivalence with the DSH bundle.

What to review · 需要检查什么
- Oh Story Read the setting and chapter changes, including unresolved fields and tracking state. A reference gate, hook or deterministic check is a workflow aid—not proof of literary quality, perfect continuity or publication acceptance.
- Oh Story DSH Inspect the actual project files and DSH tool results, not only whether a workbench tab is visible. The plugin is a community plugin for DSH and is not affiliated with, partnered with or endorsed by DeepSeek.
- ZenStory Workbench Review proposed edits and the actual exported text. Snapshot, comparison and rollback features help revision, but do not guarantee unlimited retention or writing quality. Source inspection here is not a live authenticated-account test or a privacy/security audit.
- Oh Story（网文写作 skill 包） 检查设定与章节修改，以及未解决字段和追踪状态。参考资料守卫、hook 或确定性检查是流程辅助，不证明文学质量、绝对连续性或平台投稿通过。

- Stay in the environment you already use unless a specific missing capability justifies moving. Read its matching installation/account instructions before copying a whole project.
- Try a small, non-sensitive passage you own or are authorized to use. Set the intended edit, inspect the changed text and confirm what is saved or exported; keep a backup.
- Record the product/source version, host, model configuration and any untested behavior. Compare the result you actually reviewed, not the number of tabs, agents or checks.

Comparison boundaries · 比较边界
- No default cross-product migration or two-way synchronization is established by this comparison. Markdown text alone does not make project directories, accounts, sessions, settings and histories interchangeable; investigate a specific transfer path before relying on it.
- Local files or a local browser UI are not evidence of offline or private model processing. Review the configured providers and the applicable deployment/privacy policies before using sensitive material.
- Open-source licensing is separate from model, media, hosting and service costs. This is not a pricing, performance, security or literary-quality comparison, and none of the workflows guarantees publication acceptance.
