扫榜

chart scanning (bestseller-board scanning)

Definition

扫榜 (sǎo bǎng, 'sweeping the charts') is the first step in the commercial web-fiction method: read the live bestseller and recommendation boards of the major platforms and look for what repeats across many books — genre, protagonist type, opening angle — rather than what any single top-ranked title does. The working rule in Oh Story is that a single ranking only gives a lead; a pattern repeated across samples is a signal. It sits upstream of 拆文 (deconstruction), which is why competitors that only offer '拆书' start one step late.

扫榜是商业网文方法论的第一步：读各平台的实时榜单与推荐位，找的是跨很多本书重复出现的东西——题材、主角人设、开局切入点——而不是某一本榜首在做什么。Oh Story 的工作原则是「单本排名只提供线索，跨样本重复模式才算信号」。它在拆文之前，所以只提供「拆书」的工具其实晚了一步。

/story-long-scan scrapes the boards of 起点, 番茄, 晋江, 七猫 and 刺猬猫 (short-form: 知乎盐言, 七猫, 黑岩, 点众) and reads platform economics into the result — e.g. 番茄 optimises for traffic and completion rate, 起点 for subscriptions and follow-through, 晋江 for collections and points.
